Clarion Hotel Helsinki, 1st to 3rd September 2024

The Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights will host the 36th Nordic NIR Meeting in Helsinki from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2024.

This year’s conference will address current and significant topics within the field of intellectual property law, with a focus on:

  • Nordic perspectives on recent developments in IP law
  • The relationship between AI and IP, including issues of creation and infringement
  • Reflections of the UPC's first year from a Nordic viewpoint
  • Nordic approaches to evidence considerations in IP trials

Alongside the main conference program, we will offer additional events such as a welcoming cocktail reception, a cultural program, which complement the professional discussions with opportunities for social interaction, and a gala dinner.

The conference fee of EUR 480 will be payable within 7 days of the invoice date via bank transfer. The invoice will be sent to you via e-mail (other invoicing options are not available). The registration is binding and the fee is non-refundable, but participant information can be changed later.

Please note that the conference fee does not cover accommodation, which must be booked separately and we recommend doing so at your earliest convenience to ensure availability.

Register by 19 August 2024 to attend the conference. Keep in mind that conference tickets are subject to availability. To ensure your participation, we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible.
